Elite Two Walnut Media Credenza Review

I was looking for a media/TV stand to match my mid century modern decor. All vintage pieces I came across were credenzas not really designed for TV use thus not having wire management in their design etc. All of them were also too tall so that the TV would not be at eye level. In addition, most if not all of the NEW available ones I found were either made out of cheap fiberboard, which is easy to break and not as strong as wood. BDI makes nice stands with a finish that is much nicer but they are still made out of fiberboard. Another company I looked at that uses solid wood materials was Woodwaves from which I had purchased a smaller stand for a bedroom setup .

Decided to take a chance with Radius since they manufacture in the USA and am very glad I did. Package arrived well packed with only the doors and shelves left to install. The base arrived a little damaged due to negligence during delivery. I contacted Radius and they offered to ship an entirely new stand and pick up the old one (WOW hows that for customer service?). It really was not necessary so I told them just the base needed to be replaced and they again offered to pick it up, but I insisted they just ship me a new base since after all it was only a few screws to remove so they agreed to ship it out. It only took a few days for the new base to arrive and once it did, replacement took about 15 minutes.

The finish on the stand is excellent and of noticeably higher quality than the woodwaves piece (woodwaves is still far and above your typical big box store offerings though). The shelves have such a solid feel and weight to them erasing all worries I had about them being able to hold my heavy equipment. The back has large slots/openings for ventialion and easy wire access, and the shelves are adjustable. The stand has no problem holding my 60 inch led on top along with all other electronics. So to sum it up: Excellent finish, outstanding customer service, and very well built. Totally recommended for those looking for a TV/media stand to match either modern or MCM style.
