I bought this mount to tilt a 17 inch LCD monitor that was attached to a custom built stand raising the monitor a foot off the desk. First off, let me say that this mount is very sturdy, all metal and easily adjustable. The monitor I mounted with this mount was 17 inch monitor that weighs over 15 lbs and it handles it very easily so I would assume it can easily handle today's lighter LED monitors up to the stated 27" or even more.

I have only two small complaints with this mounting kit. First, I wish that both sides had the VESA holes because the monitor stand I mounted this to already had the holes drilled in a VESA pattern, I had to drill new holes to mount this. The second complaint I have is that the screws they give you to mount this to something are long wood screws for wall mounting. They assume this will only be used to mount to a wall, I would have preferred they included some bolts with matching nuts so it could be mounted to a stand or thinner piece of wood. This mounting kit does come with every screw you will need to mount your VESA 75 or VESA 100 monitor to the mount however.

I knocked off 1 star for those two complaints but if you're mounting a monitor to wall with no holes drilled already then you shouldn't have a problem. The kit also comes with drywall anchors for the long screws I mentioned.

In the end, I am very happy with this mount purchase. I got it on sale for $11.99 and it really is a great quality product, very sturdy and easy to install/use. Even for $20 this mount is worth it.
