Product Description

This converter is used to convert the VGA output signal of a PC or a laptop to an HDMI output signal compatible with most high definition televisions or computer monitors with HDMI inputs. The converter will also support audio through a 3.5mm (headphone jack size) input which connects to the 3.5mm output of the PC or laptop with a 3.5mm to 3.5mm male to male cable. I recieved good quick delivery on the unit. But when I tried to connect the VGA output from my laptop to my HD TV It didn't work properly. I got good video but no audio. I contacted Monoprice & they were quite helpful in walking me thru the hookup & checking the connection & cables. Still didn't work. They very quickly sent me a replacement unit & a return shipping label for the 1st unit. Hooked up the replacement & same thing, good video/no audio. Called monoprice & they aided me with all kinds of manipulations on my laptop to get audio. To no avail. I felt I got good service from Monoprice but the product just doesn't work properly. Ned
