This is a very solid wall-mounting plate. I bought one of these from this vendor. It sat in my closet for a few months before I hooked it up: I thought it was going to be a lot of trouble to install it. It was a lot less work than I thought it would be. Take your time when installing it and get someone to help you. I did it by myself. I thought I was going to drop the TV. It's pretty heavy and you can't see what you're doing when you hang it on the bracket. Once I did it wrong one or twice and then did it right, I realized it was easy. Even if you don't have someone who will be able to help lift it, if you at least have someone to watch the bracket that's attached to the back of the TV as you hang it onto the wall bracket part, someone to help to guide you, it will make it much easier. And your arms won't be shaking all day afterwards. If you attach the screws to the wall properly as the instructions say and have enough of them, you won't have to worry about your TV falling off the wall one night.
