I found this a very easy installation (and was pleasantly surprised). However, I would caution anyone that is not good at handywork around the house to have someone else do it. Someone without knowledge of how to find wall studs or use a level should leave this to a pro installer. I say this because you want to make sure you firmly secure this to the center line of the studs (as opposed to the edges of the studs where your anchor point might be less than optimal). I'm a weekend handyman and remodeler, and I thought this was a breeze.

One word of caution is that the written instructions don't make clear that there's a top side of the wall mount plate (i.e., the wide piece that runs from side to side). Pay careful attention to the pictures and you'll realize there is a top side and bottom side. The top side has a ridge on each end to prevent the TV from sliding off -- the bottom side is straight all the way across.

If you're wondering how this set up works, the two vertical brackets mount to the back of the TV and then slide over the top of the horizontal wall plate (which not surprisingly mounts to the wall). The kit comes with an approximately 24" long allen wrench that allows you to secure the TV in place (i.e., secures the vertical members to the horizontal member) once you mount the TV to the wall plate.
