I'm an IT guy, so I've seen a few mounting options for monitors. The Atdec is a solid unit, easy to assemble, and when adjusted properly, very easy to maneuver and use. My application was to use it attached to a side table next to a chair -- a little unusual, but will work well for any bolt-through or clamp application. Assembly was easy with supplied tools and hardware. Took me about 30 minutes. The cable wrap was the hardest part (poor pictures). Pay particular attention to adjusting the unit for the weight of your monitor.
