I have never written a review, positive or negative, on any website. I have gone out of my way to warn everyone that this is an awful product. I used it to hook my Macbook Pro (2006) to an Acer monitor and it was a nightmare from the start. Neither side locks into place, so the slightest move of any of your equipment and you have to reconnect everything. After a few months of VERY light use (maybe twice a week for a movie or something), it just crapped out completely. Never buying a Startech product again.
