After reading the other review by the customer I felt that I needed to give a somewhat corrected review. The other customer probably didn't realize that you need to go to the Blackmagic Design website under the SUPPORT tab follow the instructions for downloading the instructions manual and drivers.
I do agree that more instructions could have been given with the initial package but this is the case for all Blackmagic Design products.
You will also need to install the Utility software on your computer and use the USB port to setup the Mini Converter.
This process also frustrated me when I first started using the Blackmagic devices but after talking with a support engineer it became a simple matter of downloading the latest drivers and manuals (which should be done with all hardware). I found it easier to leave a message for support than to call.
I'll try to come back later to give a more detailed review.
