The cable works great and I really noticed the difference between using a VGA cable and this DisplayPort-DVI especially in the colors.

Remember this is a DisplayPort PASSIVE adapter so make sure your desktop/laptop says DP++ (the "plus" signs are important) otherwise you will need an ACTIVE adapter.
