I used this along with a Sewell SW2300 PC to TV converter in order to get a composite video output from a device that only output DVI-D. It worked perfectly into a Video matrix system for display on newer wide screen TV's. I was worried that the use of two separate converters would create some sort of resolution or sync conflicts, but worked as well as I could expect going from the two distant video formats. There was, of course, a lack of detail compared to the DVI signal, but it worked well enough for my intent.
