This is the solution to you external monitor problem for the Macbook Pro. The performance on this device is pretty good. There is a slight sync issue which is why i gave it a 4/5. When reconnecting the device at times it does connect. Sometimes I have to turn off one monitor before I connect so it can complete the syncing.

Otherwise it's awesome. The refresh rate is natural and the resolution quality is great. So far Thunderbolt port has proven to be an advertising gimic. This is the real deal. It makes us of your Mini-Display Port. I recommend getting the single display port to mini display port from monoprice.com. It's better than the two peice item that came in the box.Enjoy
