Ordered this adapter unit to hookup a Windows8 PC to our 42in LCD flat panel television. This does the job, but could use more support for higher display resolutions. Resolution conversion options are limited. One big plus is that the unit comes with all necessary cabling to hookup your computer to the television.

I can not get the 3.5mm stereo input to RCA output to work on the unit we received. This may be a problem with this individual unit, as the sound comes out of the L speakers only. If I directly hook the PC to the AV receiver using a 3.5mm to RCA adapter cable rather than routing through the adapter unit, the sound is in stereo; both L & R speakers work.

Overall, not a bad unit. A little pricey, but gets the job done.
