Just got done hooking these up. I am using the DirectTV box in my bedroom to send a signal to my old analog TV out in the garage. Total distance is about 20 feet, and I'm going through one wall. Bottom Line: after some fidling, the results are very good. The image on my TV in the garage is very clear. I do get an occasional pop in the signal, but it only happens once or twice in a 5 minute period. I definitely found that trying different channels helped. In my case, Channel 4 worked quite well. Channel 2 had a lot of interference and made the screen image very poor. I had some problems getting the DirectTV remote to work from the garage - turns out that you must push the connector for the IR remote extender into the transmitter box very hard to get it to seat all of the way. I didn't have it fully seated the first time. Now that I fixed that, the remote works perfectly.

The reason I gave this only 4 stars - the construction is very cheap. The switches, connectors, cables etc. are obviously second-rate. However, for the price, and for a TV I only watch in the background while I'm working on my car, these are just fine. If you are looking for this type of set-up, I would recommend these.
