I purchased 3 of these to hook up gaming consols to my new TV. None of them worked, and there were no instructions. I plugged in the AV cables then the HDMI cable, I then plugged in the power cable and nothing was detected by the TV. I swiched them around, still nothing. I accidently pulled one of the RCA video cables out of the converter box, when I plugged it back in with power on, it started working. I repeated that process with the other two and they also work. I have only had them for a week, so we will see if they continue to function.
